Okay, you’ve got a 45 inches LCD monitor from the lucky draw which was held in
an amusement park. While you are stunned full of astonishment and trying to
figure out where you could install this big stuff in your tiny apartment, one
person suddenly shout to you.
“I am offering you 70% of the
retail price! Sell it to me!” You think, “WHY NOT?” You won’t think, “OMFG! He would be banned
from this park!” neither “Sounds reasonable but would my prize be withdrawn if I accept his
offer?”
common sense that the virtual goods which are farmed from game belong to the
gamer itself. Even powerleveling is a common practice for affordable person and
the game publisher are not taking action toward this.
Whilst
closely related to RMT, in U.S. or other countries, major of the RMT is about
trading WOW gold. However Blizzard is not friendly to this activities and
actively banning people’s account that had violated
their EULA.
‘In some States, Countries and regions, a
married couple owns all property jointly, so why can’t they both use a single
World of Warcraft account? The answer lies in what a World of Warcraft Account
is and who owns it. Blizzard maintains ownership of all World of Warcraft
accounts. The Terms of Use agreement is a license to use the account you
establish, as long as you obey all the rules. A World of Warcraft account is
like an amusement park ticket. By buying the ticket you, and one of your minor
children if you so choose, can enter the amusement park. While you and your
spouse may be one legal entity for property considerations, you will each need
your own ticket in order to enter the amusement park. Tickets cannot be given
away or shared with anyone; they only grant entrance for one specific person
and their minor child. Additionally, if you break the rules your ticket may be
revoked; allowing other people (including your spouse) to use your ticket
instead of acquiring their own is considered a serious infraction and may
result in everyone involved being escorted from the amusement park!’ (Details)
Eventually and recently, most RMT companies including
IGE, Sparter, SwagVault are having problems with supplying their customer’s needs as Blizzard is getting more harsh to their business.
So, to keep their profits up and maintain
their business what could they do? We have to think of the difference of each
market and the answer may come out.
